The art of slam poetry has brought people all over the world to the internet and the real world, speaking their mind about hot button topics like racism, sexuality, mental illness and feminism, among other things. These brave movers and shakers of the Slam Poetry generation are using their voices to speak out for their people against the establishments they grew up oppressed under.
